Dear Distance,

I would really appreciate if you would stop existing so that I could see the people I love whenever I feel like it.

Lately I have been thinking about how much I love my family.  I am so blessed to have such amazing siblings, and so grateful they have all married such amazing people.  I have also been thinking about how much I hate not all living in the same place.

I miss being the baby of the family, and having everyone at home.  I miss our lame family sleep overs, when everyone would end up sneaking away to their bed in the middle of the night.  I miss Christmas Eve nights when we would all go pile into Amy's bed and just stare at the clock waiting for the designated time when we could go look at our presents.  I miss when my dad would make chocolate pudding for all of us in the old-school mugs.  I just miss so many different things.

BUT....

I am so grateful for the wonderful additions that have come into our family because of time.  Especially these little ones.

And I can't forget my favorite addition of them all....

I just love this boy!

I really am so thankful for my family.  I love them all so much and am always looking forward to the next time we are all together again!

Let the Games Begin

Some of the fam after the game

So there is always one great thing about the beginning of the school year - it is the beginning of football season, as well.  I think being able to watch college football is what gets me through the school year.  However, it is quite stressful when Braden plays.  Anyway, BYU played the University of Washington on Saturday.  It was a great game, and BYU came out with a win, 23-17.  Braden started at Offensive Tackle and did an amazing job! William and Yesi were even able to make it to the game, so we were very happy about that.

Starting line up!

I cannot wait to see what the rest of the football season has in store for us.  We are crossing our fingers it will be a great one.  Go Cougars!
